They're dancing in Chicago. Down in New Orleans. Up in New York City. Philadelphia, PA. Baltimore and D.C. now. Can't forget the Motor City. Way down in L.A., every day, dancing in the street or the kitchen, and wearing their hometown near their hearts.
With thanks to some snippets from Martha & the Vandellas, a reminder that tomorrow is the last day for a chance to win the gift of a map charm, showing off your big city or small town. Custom orders, states, hearts and arrows too, all from Big City Bumpkin.

michele
especially with good food wine and a great cook!
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteI love the thought of dancing in the kitchen. Thank you for the push to renew, or rejuvenate this wonderful idea! I used to with my boys when they were little, and then, other life takes over. :)
ReplyDeleteI think every day needs a touch of silliness. And disco dancing.
DeleteMy husband and I walked down the aisle to 'At Last' (2000) and made a pact that we would always dance to it-whenever we heard it. The time at Home Depot was the most awkward but we stuck to it and laughed like crazy. I love hearing about your kitchen dancing.....so fun Doreen!
ReplyDeleteHow I love that idea! At Last is our song, too, so perhaps we'll bump into each other dancing in the aisles.
DeleteOh how I love this thought, Doreen - thanks for the reminder to enjoy the little things...
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the little things, I think.
